Pest Control Technician

POSITION OVERVIEW – As a technician for American Pest Control, you’ll develop relationships with customers, management, and other staff in order to provide an exceptional experience to our internal and external customers. You will have the opportunity to service and sell a full range of pest management and termite solutions. Your ultimate goal is to educate every customer, leaving them with peace of mind.

- Receive support in training and completing the registered technician exam from the Georgia Department of Agriculture. You’ll be a fully registered pest control technician, which will also make you eligible to sell and earn commission. REQUIREMENTS – To be seriously considered for this role, please have the following in regard to:
- Physical Requirements: Due to the physical demands of the position, candidates should be able to crawl on hands and knees, climb ladders up to 20 feet, lift and carry up to 20 lbs. up to 500 ft., stoop, belly crawl in crawl spaces and attics, twist, turn, wear a backpack blower weighing 60 lbs., and reach above head.
- Education and Licensing: High School Diploma, Valid driver’s license
- Skills: Exceptional phone etiquette, proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (365 a plus), and Adobe. Knowledge of ServSuite a plus.
