Since 1997 Boardman Lake Glens has been Traverse City's premier senior living community. We serve our 65+ residents three home cooked meals every day and we are looking for a new cook to join our food and beverage team.

The best Chef/Cook for this position will love cooking, exercising creativity, and interacting with our senior residents. They must be able to:
Work 2-4 days a week (10-hour day shifts, including some weekends and holidays).
Be self motivated and able to work independently and with a team.
Be able to multi task in a moderately paced environment.
Exercise a variety of basic cooking skills including prep, saut, grilling, and baking.
Follow directives for individual resident dietary needs.
Maintain an organized and sanitary kitchen.
ServeSafe certification is preferred.
Base pay is $16 + weekend/holiday shift premium.
