Kailani Tours is seeking an exceptional person to assist in taking our business to the next level - somebody that will be recognized as a key part of our business operations.
The successful applicant will need to have a desire to learn about our products, our services, and team members. They’ll love the idea of a team that supports our adventure guides and upper management. They will have an ability to connect with our guests on the phone, assist with reservations, and help set up the next day’s tours for our guides. The successful applicant will above all else have a passion for setting up guests for a great vacation, they must love people, and have a desire to deliver amazing customer service. The perfect fit for this position is someone that can handle taking a reservation, packing tour supplies, and running out to swap vehicles if needed. They will relish the challenge of achieving the goals and targets that we set together and sharing in our success. POSITION SUMMARY:
● 30% Dispatch – You are the key to getting our guides ready to go in the morning. You are THE morning person with a winning attitude that gets the team fired up for an awesome day of touring. We work with Google Docs, FareHarbor booking software, and a few applications. You will love working off of multiple screens, being multi-tooled, and multi-talented. Must be comfortable with emails, be detail-oriented, and enjoy getting our guests and guides prepared for their tour.
● 50% Tour Preparation – Setting everyone up for success means being able to prepare supplies, inventory, and warehouse equipment for streamlined operations. Basic stocking, cleaning, and ordering will be important to operational flow.
● 20% Various Operational or Marketing Duties – No day is the same. Who knows what the day will bring? Some days you might run a vehicle to the repair shop, another you’ll be doing marketing runs to the hotels, and the next you might be setting up for a group at a restaurant. Ready for whatever!
ACTUAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Being the air traffic controller for the operations team. You know where everyone is at all times. You've got a phone on your hip and can keep the team focused on the day ahead. Emailing vendors for the next day’s tours, verifying meal choices, and taking notes for guides. Assisting the Operations Manger with tour scheduling, managing tour supply inventory and various clerical duties. Any other duties as assigned; including but not limited to: assisting with fleet management, warehouse duties not described above, and limited driving duties that may include van swaps or rescues.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
