Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support and ensure efficient office operations. The candidate will split time between our St Peters Office and our Ofallon Office (only on tuesdays)
hours will consist of: mondays 8am-1pm, tues 1pm-5pm, thur 8am-1pm and every other friday 9am-1pm
Duties:
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, document preparation, medical records and assist with medication refills.
- Manage phone calls and correspondence
- Utilize various systems and software for scheduling and record-keeping
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Coordinate front desk activities and patient services
- Follow HIPAA guidelines in all interactions
- Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic health records systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks
-check emails and faxes daily
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an front office role
- Knowledge of office procedures and basic accounting principles
- Proficiency in using office software and phone systems
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
