Our client is seeking a People Operations Manager, who loves building relationships, works best in a fast-paced environment, and has a knack for nurturing and retaining top talent. What You'll Do:
As our People Ops/TA Manager, you'll wear many hats, but your primary focus will be on talent acquisition and employer branding. Here's a glimpse into your day-to-day:
- Talent Acquisition: You'll spearhead our recruiting efforts, from sourcing and interviewing to onboarding new team members. You'll work closely with department heads to understand their hiring needs and find the best candidates to join our team.
- Employer Brand Evangelist: You'll be the face of our employer brand at trade shows, career fairs, and networking events. You'll create and deliver compelling presentations that showcase why our client is a great place to work.
- Retention Strategist: You'll work with our Fractional CHRO and CEO to implement strategies to keep our employees engaged and motivated. You'll work on programs related to employee recognition, career development, and succession planning.
- Compensation & Benefits Expert: You'll manage our compensation and benefits programs to ensure they are competitive and align with our company goals. You'll conduct regular market analyses to keep our offerings attractive.
- Engagement Champion: You'll design and execute initiatives to boost employee engagement, including surveys, feedback sessions, and team-building activities.
- Onboarding Specialist: You'll create a seamless onboarding experience for new hires, ensuring they feel welcomed and supported from day one.
- Talent Management Pro: You'll oversee our talent management programs, including performance reviews, professional development, and training opportunities.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: 5+ years in HR, with a focus on talent acquisition and/or employer branding. Experience in other HR functions like retention, compensation, and engagement is a big plus.
- People Skills: You're a natural networker who loves meeting new people and building relationships. You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic Thinker: You can see the big picture and develop HR strategies that align with our business goals. You're proactive and always looking for ways to improve.
- Organized & Detail-Oriented: You can juggle multiple priorities without dropping the ball. You're meticulous with details and have strong organizational skills.

- Industry Knowledge: You've recruited for data management, AI, SaaS, Product Lead Growth, and/or Marketing positions in the tech sector.
- SHRM CP, APHR or PHR Certification a plus!
- Experience working with PEOs, payroll vendors, benefit brokers, etc. is a plus as well.

The People Operations Manager will work from their home in New York and will attend TA events on behalf of our client, all over Manhattan.
