Registered Nurse / Clinical Instructor- Per Diem
Goodwill is looking for a dynamic and self-motivated Registered Nurse to serve as a clinical instructor in our growing Certified Nurse Aide Training Program. Our training program focuses on increasing access for underserved populations and closing the education and achievement gap in our community. We remove barriers to training and employment so that individuals who may not be able to enroll in other programs, can not only enroll in ours but succeed.
The hourly rate for this position is $30.00 - 32.00
We are seeking a registered nurse with at least 2 years of experience, including a minimum of 1 year working in a long-term care setting. The primary responsibility of this role is to lead students through the required clinical practicum for becoming a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA). This includes supervising them in a clinical setting, providing feedback on their performance and areas for improvement, and supporting them on their journey to becoming a CNA. In addition to clinical instruction, the Instructor will provide respectful Person-Centered Planning services, accurately track and manage data, maintain attendance records, utilize interactive teaching methods, and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines for CNA training.
Requirements:
- State of Michigan Licensure as a Registered Nurse
- 2 years of experience as a RN, and 1 year of experience working as an RN in a long-term care setting
- Experience supervising CNAs, preferred.
