The RN is responsible of utilizing the nursing process with individual patients and groups of patients to assist them in meeting their physiological, psychological, safety, and general health needs.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of program policies and procedures, patient care standards, pharmacology and emergency procedures.
RN must also have working knowledge of specific techniques of intervention, nursing procedures, equipment and supplies effectively using common English and arithmetic.
He/she must possess the ability to effectively intervene with confused, disoriented or agitated patients.
Will use good judgment to solve practical problems and emergencies without undue emotional excitement or panic.
Experience:
1-2 years of Psychiatric/Substance Abuse. Experience working in a psychiatric setting is preferred. Must have knowledge, experience and training in detox services.
License:
· Registered Nurse (RN) (Required)
· CPR certified
