Early Childhood/ Preschool Teacher
SPHDS Early Childhood Program is seeking qualified early childhood teachers to work with the 18 months through 3-year old . Now interviewing both English and Hebrew speaking teachers.
We are offering different positions:
1. Part time afternoon early childhood teacher. Working hours: 12:30pm-5:30pm or 11:00-4:30
2. Early Childhood floater teacher. Working hours: 9:00am-5:30pm and 8:00am -4:30
3. Summer camp full-time teachers. Working hours: 8:30am -4:30pm. Summer camps lasts from June 20 to July 29
Main Responsibilities:
● Create and maintain a safe, clean and open-ended play-based environment
● Plans, supervises and implements developmentally appropriate experiences for the children indoors and outdoors.
● Observe and identify the needs of each child and build a plan for the child’s growth
● Attend school events and staff meeting
● Communicate effectively and collaborate with families and other faculties

Job requirements and qualifications:
● Candidates must have a minimum of 12 E.C.E. semester units (including core classes)
● 6 months experience working with children in a licensed child care center or comparable group program
● Knowledge of open-ended, play-base environment is preferable

Pay: $22.00 - $30 per hour
