The Position
The Impact Coordinator of United Way of Franklin County works with supervision and support from the Executive Director to assist in meeting the mission and goals of United Way of Franklin County by coordinating events and activities that strengthen the impact of United Way of Franklin County Programs and Community Outreach.

Qualifications
· Competency and fluency with computer systems and equipment, including specialized software, Microsoft Suite and web-based tools sufficient to access and update information and communications for United Way of Franklin County
· Fluency with social media platforms and the ability to manage content to positively engage with community and convey the United Way of Franklin County brand.
· Relates positively with guests of United Way and is able to draw upon knowledge of relationships and community to advance opportunities for donor engagement.
· Flexibility to handle hectic times during peak campaign activities and other programming efforts.
· Bachelor’s degree or comparable balance of education and experience required.
Responsibilities
1. Event Coordination
a. Plans and coordinates events for United Way of Franklin County including but not limited to food and school supply drives, children’s events, industry fairs and mixers, educational activities, and fundraising events.
b. Works actively with community partners, sponsors, committees, and volunteers to coordinate and execute activities.
c. Works proactively to meet timelines and deadlines.
d. Works with staff team and vendors to plan timely fundraising, promotional activities and publicity. Assists with communication to stakeholders and community using accessible promotional tools.
e. Represents United Way of Franklin County at community events and meetings as deemed appropriate to match the mission and initiatives of the organization.
f. Coordinates volunteer support for event activities with oversite from the Executive Director and Community Engagement Officer of United Way of Franklin County.
2. Program Development
a. Builds relationships and works collaboratively with Program and Community Partners to further the impact of United Way of Franklin County
b. Assists with fundraising efforts.
c. Identifies and strengthens opportunities for volunteerism, collaboration, and initiative development through United Way of Franklin County.
3. Team Support
a. Works collaboratively with other members of the United Way Team to support day to day operations such as financial entry, updating office information systems as well as external communications.
b. Assists in maintaining a positive and professional work environment.
c. Works with other team members to support other duties and regular activities of the organization.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
