The Vice President of Loyalty and Payments is responsible for developing the strategic direction and flawless execution of the Belk loyalty program and payment initiatives.
This role will work closely with leadership to innovate, develop and refine ideas and campaigns to deliver upon our company goals, sales targets, customer engagement and strengthen customer retention efforts.
Additionally, this person owns, drives and oversees the credit-card based loyalty program to build and maintain customer loyalty in partnership with Synchrony Financial.
Job Functions
Develop a strategic plan to identify specific customer opportunities, leveraging personalization that are informed by customer insights
Optimize the loyalty strategy with an omni channel and customer focused mindset
Develop, implement and assess loyalty strategies for our Belk Rewards+ loyalty program members with a focus on increasing credit card sales and penetration through lifecycle programs and driving new cardholder acquisition
Oversee the team that leads loyalty and payments, offering robust recommendations and effectively articulating outcomes to cross functional stakeholders.
Identify, develop and maintain high-level vendor and cross functional partner relationships including the management of the team at Synchrony that is dedicated to our Belk credit card program.
Define, manage, and report on metrics that represent progress against loyalty and marketing goals
Oversee the payment team that develops strategy and manages the company roadmap for the evolution of driving the gift card program and third-party credit profit through added sales and cost reduction.

Minimum Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or a related degree required
Relevant experience in customer focused marketing and analytical strategies
10+ years of proven experience developing, inspiring, and activating teams to deliver best in class efforts against key audiences
7+ years of loyalty program strategy experience and management, including a credit-card based loyalty program
