Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons of Houston is Houston’s premier Oral Surgery center, offering a full scope of oral surgery procedures in a state-of-the-art facility located in the Memorial/Spring Branch area of Houston, Texas.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Professional Relationship Coordinator to lead and coordinate various business and professional development initiatives. This role is pivotal in managing the Bayou City Study Club, aimed at both internal staff and dental professionals statewide, enhancing business operations, professional growth, and continuing education.
Key Responsibilities:
Immediate Responsibilities:
- Become an expert in systems, tools, and processes related to the Bayou City Study Club (including SPEAR, Seattle Study Club, and Women’s Study Club).
- Manage an annual training calendar aligned with business initiatives.
- Collaborate with practice leadership to deliver industry-standard curriculum in areas such as clinical proficiency, management training, performance management, strengths-based leadership, high-potential identification and development, and mentorship.
- Design effective training plans and curriculum to maximize attendance and participation.
- Partner with business leaders and key stakeholders to conduct needs assessments and determine appropriate learning solutions.
- Monitor training effectiveness and implement methods to measure program success and ROI.
Future Growth:
- Develop and manage an annual training calendar aligned with business initiatives.
- Identify and assess current and future training needs through job analysis and career pathing.
- Recruit and retain subject matter experts to deliver top-notch curriculum.
- Research, implement, and manage a Learning Management System (LMS).
- Develop training content, including course outlines, lesson plans, visual aids, and handouts.
- Establish internal guidelines and procedures for consistent development of training materials.
- Assist in the rollout of new processes and systems.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute team events, including holiday celebrations, team-building events, and birthdays.
- Develop and execute initiatives to engage local dental professionals and increase patient referrals.
- Create and implement community outreach initiatives to enhance the practice's visibility.
- Develop and execute seasonal marketing campaigns to attract more patients.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, communications, or a related field.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional planning and organizational skills for scheduling and tracking course completion.
- Ability to simplify complex processes into engaging and easy-to-learn content.
- 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing corporate training and development programs; healthcare industry experience preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of healthcare and revenue cycle processes preferred but not required.
- Experience in people and project management.
- Proficiency in creating content for all social media platforms.
