Overview:
Monte Rosa Therapeutics is searching for a Sr Research Associate I or II in Immunology/Oncology to provide expertise in developing innovative molecular glue degraders, aiming to deliver a new generation of treatments to patients. This individual will design and execute pivotal proof-of-concept studies in pre-clinical models of inflammation, immunology, and oncology, and assist in the cross-functional development of our research strategy. The role involves interacting with team members to design and execute in vivo/ex vivo pharmacology studies aimed at defining the activity and mechanism of action of compounds. Significant cross-functional collaboration with a talented and dedicated group of scientists including chemists, cell biologists, immunologists, will ensure a diverse exposure to the drug discovery process. This person will work primarily in our Animal Care Facility, with an opportunity to expand their scope at the lab bench.

-
Administration of selected agents by PO, IP, IV, IM, SC routes.
-
Blood sampling techniques via multiple routes, including submandibular bleed.
-
Tumor implantation on flank, followed by tumor volume measurements.
-
Preparation of compound formulation for in vivo
-
Optimize and perform studies to define target biology in mouse models of inflammation and immunity for in vivo, in vitro and ex vivo
- Maintain accurate laboratory records/notebooks, procedures, and data summaries.
-
