Job Description: The Inventory Specialist is responsible for assisting the Inventory Manager with all aspects of obtaining and bringing in all products for sale in One Love, including: sales forecasting; anticipating sales trends; regulatory and policy compliance; and inventory control and management. Therefore, the Inventory Specialist must have a solid knowledge of cannabis as well as any other products available (such as edibles and other infusion products). S/he must be able to anticipate trends in sales. And s/he must understand cultivation and production, as well cannabis testing. S/he must also be knowledgeable about Nevada state and local laws pertaining to cannabis. The Inventory Specialist must be a self-starter capable of finding and evaluating business opportunities. S/he also must be computer literate and able to use Point of Sale (POS) equipment and software. We are looking for people to grow with us and to be a part of our strong team environment.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Supervise all dispensary operations pertaining to the acquisition and following inventory protocols related to all types of cannabis.
- Receiving orders physically and ensuring all proper documentation is present
- Maintaining all paper and digital inventory files including lab results
- Receiving orders digitally across POS and state compliance software systems
- Processing orders (weighing, bagging, and/or applying stickers)
- Communicating processing needs with management
- Assist in the auditing of inventory and investigations
- Conducting daily cash reconciliation and reporting
- Conducting weekly physical inventory audits
- Communicating needs of operation with management
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business.
- Train all employees on new products.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Counsel and guide employees.
- Educate employees on cannabis properties and the selection of proper genetics per the customers desired effect or per specific medical ailment.
- Manage dispensary sales and forecasting, including weekly summaries of metrics.
- Perform daily inventory management
- Maintain a culture of high-quality customer service and communication.
- Ensure compliance with all state and local laws, regulations and ordinances.
- Ensure compliance with all Dispensary policies and procedures.
- Assist State and Local government auditors and law enforcement with inventory, sales and compliance audits.
- Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.
- Contribute to team environment and company advancement per strategic direction set by leadership.
Requirements:
- Must be 21 or over
- Process and personnel management, professionalism, team problem solving, inventory control experience
- Sales and management experience
- Past experience in cannabis preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of products and Nevada cannabis laws. Specifically, must have knowledge of various strains, genetics, THC content, and all relevant terminology.
- Computer literacy
- Competency in or ability to gain competency in POS system
- Outstanding interpersonal & communication skills, positive and cheerful attitude, with a strong customer service orientation.
- Must be reliable, honest, responsible and mature with a strong work ethic.
- Must be able to lift 40+ pounds
- Clean and well organized
- Successful completion of a thorough personal reference check and background check from the Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health. Note that any applicant with a violent felony or drug-related offense (Conclusion of sentence, probation, and/or incarceration within the past 10 years) is not eligible to become a dispensary agent.
Authorities:
- Authority to operate all aspects and functions of the Dispensary.
- Authority to open and close Dispensary in compliance with all applicable regulations and policies.
- Authority to enter dispensary vault.
- Authority to handle and dispense cannabis.
- Authority to handle purchases and transactions.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
