CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant for SNF
Lotus Care Center is a 24-hour licensed nursing care facility providing complete physical and rehabilitative services in a warm caring environment. We have multiple full time and part time positions for C.N.A.s.
Under the direction and supervision of the Charge Nurse and DSD, the C.N.A. performs tasks that involve specific services for residents which are supportive and complimentary of Nursing practice.
The CNA must possess the following:
-Provide a suitable environment for the residents by giving attention to cleanliness, ventilation, lighting, and furniture arrangements.
-Keep alert to the resident's condition and reports to the Charge Nurse, changes in the resident's attitude, appearance, behavior, and physical ability. -Promptly answers call signals/lights.
-Transport and assist residents as needed throughout the facility.
-Keep written notes of specific assignments and records pertinent information about the residents.
-Preserves the dignity and self-respect of all residents at all times.
Open schedule is preferred Graduation from High School is preferred (GED ok).
Hazard pay available at employer discretion
At least 2 years experience as C.N.A. in a Skilled Nursing facility.
Current C.N.A. and CPR certifications.
Ability to speak English clearly and write legibly.
Ability to carry out directions or instructions, both written and verbal. Ability to record messages and keep simple records.
Some training and experience in basic nursing procedures. Must pass pre-employment requirements, i.e. fingerprint clearance, TB and drug screening & physical exam.
