Texas Lighting Solutions is seeking candidates for a lighting controls Applications Specialist (Quotations and Submittals) in the LCDT (Lighting Controls Design Team) serving the northern portion of Texas (DFW, Lubbock, El Paso), Southeastern New Mexico, and Northwestern Louisiana. The position is based in Euless, Texas. Travel will be limited to Manufacturer training events and occasional satellite office visits. When needed, you may meet with the customer virtually or in-person to gather the necessary info to complete the design. LCDT Specialist team members work together to complete all requests for Quotations and Submittals. Requests will be performed in a combination of BlueBeam Revu and AutoCadLT.
Once the project has been assigned through Podio (CRM tool), the specialist is responsible for communication until the request is completed and closed out. The specialist is expected to:
· Communicate with other members of the company via phone, email, and in-person.
· Keep up with project changes to keep the quotes and submittals up to date.
· Be organized and detailed in logging requests and communication within Podio and demonstrate outstanding customer service by proactively communicating with the internal teams throughout the project's quotation and submittal cycle.
· Offer guidance and product knowledge on the product represented by Texas Lighting Solutions to support the design intent.
· Be responsible for ensuring requested completion dates are met.
· Ensure each job is quoted economically and efficiently to demonstrate financial adherence by properly designing jobs in the most efficient manner.
Additional Responsibilities:
· Stay up to date on all Lighting Controls Product Offerings.
· Assist with Quotations and Submittals on projects as needed.
· Assist with developing tools to increase efficiency within the LCDT specialist department.
· Assist other departments with product questions and guidance.

· Familiar with the Lighting and Lighting Controls Industries
· Poses knowledge of basic electrical systems in commercial applications.
· Have a basic understanding of lighting controls systems
· Possess a solid working knowledge of AutoCadLT and working with floor plan layouts and technical one-line wiring details.
· Experience in BlueBeam Revu or other PDF manipulation software.
