Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain precise construction schedules using tools like Projx360 and Google Docs, outlining tasks, timelines, dependencies, and resource allocations.
- Forge strong partnerships with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to grasp project details fully and integrate this understanding into effective scheduling.
- Ensure the timely arrival of materials and resources by coordinating closely with subcontractors and suppliers, keeping our projects on track.
- Monitor construction progress, pinpointing any deviations or delays, and proactively address potential impacts on project timelines.
- Resolve scheduling conflicts and manage resource constraints to ensure critical project milestones are met.
- Maintain clear and regular communication with all project stakeholders, providing updates, changes, and progress reports to keep everyone aligned.
- Lead 'Jobs in Progress' meetings to evaluate schedule performance, plan future activities, and troubleshoot any arising challenges.
- Uphold and enhance scheduling best practices, standards, and procedures to maximize efficiency and precision across projects.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a scheduling or project coordination role within the construction or related industry.
- Proficiency in scheduling software (Projx360, Outlook) and adept at leveraging technology to enhance project efficiency.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, capable of nurturing excellent relationships across diverse groups.
- Detail-oriented with robust organizational and time management skills, ensuring that every project detail is handled with care.
- Innovative problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to overcoming obstacles and ensuring project success.
- A certification in project management or scheduling is considered an asset but not required.
