Overview:
Smile Brands is a dominant player in the dental space and we are seeking a highly motivated Credit Services Specialist to join our team. This person will report to the Patient Financing Manager. The ideal candidate has experience working in collection and customer service focused roles, as well as working in a fast-paced environment. This position is responsible for maintaining an acceptable payment pattern and relationships with customers. They will manage inbound and outbound customer service and collection calls. This is a remote opportunity.
Schedule (days/hours): Monday - Friday (and occasional Saturdays) Responsibilities:
- Promote company culture by providing excellent customer service: interact with customers, teams, field staff, etc.

Conduct outbound and inbound calls

Understand and explain patient account status and activity

Meeting daily expectations to ensure goals and business needs are met

Collections - negotiate and secure payments from customers in an effort to resolve and prevent past-due balances
Qualifications:
- Collections experience, or other closely related experience in billing, negotiation, sales, or customer service

Basic computer knowledge and data entry experience

Excellent communications skills and can handle a high volume of inbound or outbound calls

Has experience working independently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working similar roles in Dental or Healthcare

Bilingual (English plus another language)
Compensation: $16.50 per hour, with a competitive monthly bonus plan About:
