R&R Ministries is a non-profit organization dedicated to dignifying those in marginalized communities through job training and placement. We are currently looking for a full-time Director of Community Engagement (DCE) to join our team! The DCE is responsible for establishing and maintaining external partner relations Company-wide as per RRM standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Others could be assigned.
· Identifies, builds, and manages relationships with partner agencies, elected officials, government agencies, and community organizations.
· Acts as a liaison between external contacts and organizational leadership. Serves as the initial point of contact for new relationships, partnerships, events, and new client referral.
· Seeks funding and writes grants on behalf of the Company.
· Designs and implements the organization’s internal and external event calendar and facilitates staff and volunteer attendance.
· Represents the Company at community events, coalitions, and committee meetings.
· Coordinates training with the Counseling Department to meet organizational objectives and ensure a positive client experience.
· Oversees the Counseling Coordinators’ management of current clientele and referral records in RRM’s EHR database.
· Supervises the Hospitality Team’s documentation of current local organizations.
· Supervises the Work Programs Coordinator, holding them accountable for ensuring successful program functionality is tailored to the client’s professional needs.
Qualifications:
· Required Education: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university with an emphasis or concentration in business, non-profit management, public relations, or another related field.
· Required Experience: Five years of professional experience with grant writing, fundraising, individual donor, and fund development.
