Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Registered Behavior Technician to join our in-home team. As an RBT, you will play a vital role in providing behavioral therapy and support to children with developmental disabilities. - Duties: Implement behavior management strategies and interventions under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide direct patient care and support in accordance with individualized treatment plans
- Collect and maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Assist with the implementation of behavioral therapy techniques, including reinforcement and prompting
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment goals
- Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of special education principles in daily practice
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities as an RBT
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and principles
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals of all ages
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in medical documentation and record keeping
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team
