SUMMARY
Responsible for handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience. Is required to give updates on all post sales activities including but not limited to order status, notifications of any changes, providing required documentation, and scheduling start up services.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for managing customer service inquiries via email, chat, and phone.
- Manage relationships with customer accounts to provide world class customer service.
- Act as an advocate for the customer to confirm that customer deadlines are achieved, products are delivered to specification, and on-time.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction by identifying, understanding, and promptly addressing customers’ needs
- Manage customer orders from receipt of order through commissioning.
- Act as the main point of contact for key customers so that customers get quick responses and/or action in response to inquiries including, change requests, invoicing, warranty, and service
- Executes KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives to maximize customers service levels
- Coordinate with customer to schedule startup and other field services.
- Become familiar with Avtron products and look for opportunities to grow sales with key accounts.
- Participate in annual customer business review meetings
- Expedites backorders and process customer returns.
- Travel less than 5%
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field or equivalent level of experience is preferred
- 2 years of relevant inside sales or customer service experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience using SAP and CRMs systems a plus
- Creative problem-solver with outstanding customer service skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Team player who works well individually, as well as part of a team
- Training and development
- Reporting accuracy
- To perform minimum position requirements satisfactorily: requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing, testing or maintenance of electrical systems.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
