Established and rapidly growing events catering company is looking for a Chef de Cuisine specializing in South Asian and Indian Cuisine.

In this role you will be responsible for the following:
Menu Development: Create innovative and enticing modern menus and innovative dishes combining traditional South Asian and Indian cuisine with American flavors
Quality Assurance: Oversee the preparation and cooking of all dishes to ensure excellence in taste, presentation, and consistency.
Team Leadership: Manage and motivate kitchen staff, including sous chefs, line cooks, and prep cooks. Delegate tasks effectively and foster a positive work environment.
Operational Oversight: Work closely with the Executive Chef and oversee the central kitchen, with specific responsibility for the team and the line operations.
Client Relations: Engage with clients during tastings and at VIP events, providing exceptional client-facing service
Ideal candidate qualities:
- 5+ years’ experience as a Chef de Cuisine, Executive Sous Chef, or similar role preparing regional South Asian and South Indian cuisines, including Gujarati, Punjabi, Delhi, Kashmiri, Pakistani and more.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- ServSafe Manager Certification.
- Strong understanding of the cultural significance and regional differences within South Asian and Indian cuisine.
- Proven experience in managing teams and culinary operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and execute high-quality cuisine under pressure.
