Aya Healthcare is seeking an experienced Employee Partnership Consultant
LOCATION: 100% on-site in Greensboro, North Carolina!
DURATION OF CONTRACT: 6 months to start with the possibility of up to 18 months
HOURLY PAY: $45-$47
SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm
SUMMARY: This position coaches, trains and advises leaders and employees on employee relations issues involving behavior, performance and policy violations. Employee relations concepts include, but aren't limited to, equal employment opportunity, fairness and consistency in the treatment of employees, effective communication between management and employees, documentation of employment actions and complaint resolution. Additionally, Employee Relations is concerned with anticipating, addressing and diffusing workplace issues that may interfere with the organization's business objectives, and with resolving concerns between leaders and employees. Takes the lead on routine to moderately complex employee relations issues within assigned service areas under the guidance of this position. Escalates complex situations and investigations to the EPC 3, occasionally partnering with the EPC3 to resolve. Utilizes Just Culture tools to promote consistency and fairness across the organization. Encourages an engaged workforce by leading rewards and recognition and Employee Advisory Council for assigned areas.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Supports assigned service areas in the administration of Human Resources policies and procedures, specializing in employee relations to include corrective actions and related processes (including employee dispute resolution.) Builds relationships across the organization.
* Advises leaders in the process and structure of basic to mid-level investigations and corrective actions. Proactively monitors issues and assists leaders prior to employee separation through careful review of documents and leadership
consultation. Meets with employees to discuss their workplace concerns and follows through on potential issues and problems. Escalates concerns to the EPM as appropriate.
* Manages division Employee Advisory Council(s) and related activities ensuring that the Council's initiatives support the strategic goals related to employee engagement. Oversees fundraisers and community drives supporting the mission of Employee Advisory Council and the Cone Health values. Provides leadership for assigned areas regarding rewards and recognition.
* Assists with managing multiple HR systems including corrective action documentation, rewards and recognition system, HRIS, engagement system, leave system, and compliance systems. Responds to requests for reports and analysis
appropriately. Assists with the preparation of reports and the analysis of statistical data for metrics for regulatory purposes and trending for benchmarking to identify areas for training or retention work. Coordinates development of
appropriate training programs with the HR team to ensure consistency in messaging and processes.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's Degree
* 3 years demonstrated Human Resources experience with concentration in Employee Relations.
* SHRM-CP or PHR or CHHR
* Thorough knowledge of employment law is required.
* Ability to multi-task and prioritize
* Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations (ie: fast paced environment, meeting deadlines/work quotas, etc.)
* Ability to communicate effectively through both oral and written formats.
* Project Management Skills

* Ability to present information to a group
PREFERRED:
* Healthcare Human Resources experience
* Prior experience with Infor and Sharepoint Information Systems a plus
