Program Specialist/ODP Certified Investigator

Position Summary
The Program Specialist/Certified Investigator is responsible for ensuring programmatic regulatory compliance and documentation, as well as performing all steps of an investigation through reporting, interviewing and documenting with accuracy and timeliness. Creating an environment that empowers individuals who receive or provide support, through the development of skills and coordination of resources, in accordance with Everyday Lives and Person-Centered Practices. Essential Duties and Functions
- Oversee the quality of programmatic plans, ensuring individuals’ health and safety is upheld in accordance with each ISP. Ensure that identified services, goals, and outcomes are accurately documented, adhering to PA Chapter 6100 regulations.
- Represent the program in a professional manner; working in conjunction with Supports Coordination Organizations, Administrative Entities, the Office of Developmental Programs, and other ancillary services.
- Organize and maintain Individual records in the office & homes in accordance with PA Chapter 6400 regulations and program requirements.
- Complete Individual assessments, HRSTs, Quarterlies, and other applicable documentation, within regulatory standards.
- Assist and prepare new Residential Homes for the self-licensing assessment.
- Complete visits to Residential Homes.
- Maintain a minimum of 24-hours of professional and service-related trainings per training year.
- Participate in supervision and professional development plans with program management.
- Serve as an Incident Management point person for the program within EIM.
- Conduct incident investigations from start to finish hitting all time stamps required per the EIM system.
- Engage in communication between individuals, families, and ECR Residential Directors.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or above from an accredited college or university (Special Education desired) and 1 year of work experience working directly with individuals with an intellectual disability or autism.
OR
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and 2 years of work experience working directly with individuals with an intellectual disability or autism.
OR
- Associate’s degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university and 4 years of work experience working directly with individuals with an intellectual disability or autism.
Demonstrate a strong, working knowledge of Chapters 6400 and 6100 Regulations.
Demonstrate strong professional, organizational, and leadership skills.
Demonstrate the ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision.
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in written form.
Ability to support and implement ECR’s Values.
Ability to engage individuals, families, and Direct Support Professionals in effective, therapeutic, and healthy interactions.
Ability to utilize Basic Computer Skills and navigate Microsoft Office programs and applications.
Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to attend meetings and home visits.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum 4 years experience in Residential Habilitation Services

Pay: $23.50 - $26.50 per hour
