The Sales Executive Assistnat provides exceptional customer service by ensuring orders are managed appropriately from order entry to delivery. This person will communicate with customers and internal cross functional partners timely and professionally (clean, clear and respectful communication) to deliver best in class customer experience throughout all touch points.
The Sales Executive Assistant is expected to maintain profitable growth across all products and services and help optimize all sales channels for their region. This role functions as an information source to customers and directly acts as their clients’ representative with other internal departments. This role works collaboratively across the business to maintain sales and optimize growth within their portfolio of business.
Responsibilities:
Assist assigned Sales Manager(s) with their job requirements to deliver Sales Goals Understand what the Sales Goals and appointment goals are, assist with planning out forecast for future/current business.
- Negotiate effectively with customers using principles that expand offerings and add unique value.
- Drive the customer art approval process- follow-up on all artworks sent out to get customer approvals or revision direction.
- Manage the book of business in a meaningful way that reduces cancellations.
- Manager customer contracts, supplier guides, licensing agreements, etc.
Customer Data integrity- Create and Maintain Customer Cards
Manage Order Entry needs.
Point of Contact for UPCs and custom carton labels as needed.
Collaborate as needed with Sales Mangers on Art Card needs to ensure clear art direction is provided on custom orders.
- Where appropriate Help drive creative direction. Not only through direction but being able to come up with creative and new ideas that can help develop the business further.
- Attend virtual and showroom meetings- capturing & write up all art directions.
Lead & facilitate Customer requests including but not limited to shipment tracking, shipment coordinating, backorders, credits, returns, missing invoices, price changes, and quantity changes.
Collaborate with other departments (i.e. Art, Purchasing) to facilitate orders and any needed customer follow-up in a timely manner including but not limited to art and sample approvals.
Run and manage reoccurring portfolio open order reporting, customer reporting needs, and on demand reporting needs.
- Build and adhere to reporting analytical cadence to best suit book of business.
- On Demand Customer Visit Reports: Customer History Report, Open Orders Report by Customer and Pending Artwork
- All other reports or customer presentations as needed/determined by Sales Manager (i.e.: Stock products OH or backorder reports, excel spreadsheets, top 25 review, power point sales presentations)
Analyze reports, make recommendations, act on the findings with relentless follow-up.
Assist/collaborate assigned Sales Manager(s) with their customers/territory to drive new and/or grow existing business including but not limited to customer communications, meeting prep, product.
Assist in onboarding all new Sales Team members.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $51,612.96 - $62,157.54 per year
