TEMCO LOGISTICS is hiring Warehouse Associate in Macon, GA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to checking and identifying inbound and returned units, verifying quality, and ensuring there is no damage.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Verify quantity of each product to ensure physical count agrees with shipping and receiving documentation
- Report any variances so that inventory levels are accurately adjusted in system.
- Move received product from the dock into the proper warehouse slots using forklift, pallet jack and dollies
- Gathering, packing, preparing, and loading goods for dispatch.
- Complete required paperwork for daily receiving
- Balance parts that are brought back and cross reference what was used and was returned
- Document any damaged units and the detailed description of the damage
- Reporting faults and discrepancies.
- Identify any reschedule orders and report back with new delivery date on POD and tag the unit
- Ensuring that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Prior experience working in a warehouse.
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to think analytically
- Good personal skills
- Ability to work on feet for 8 hours and carry loads up to 80 pounds
- Ability to work independently and safely
