Maintenance Technician
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain office HVAC units and controls
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs of mechanical systems on:
Chilled and hot water systems
Reverse osmosis, compressed air, exhaust, humidification
Pneumatic/electronic systems and controls
Air handling systems that support clean room operations
- Perform plumbing repairs and installations:
PVC, copper, steel, etc.
Piping, fittings, valves, regulators, gauges, etc.
- Service and replace pumps, belts, bearings, etc.
- Receive and store supplies, machinery parts, process chemicals, and gases.
- Change lights and other fixtures
- Perform minor electrical repairs and diagnostics
- Conduct safety inspections to ensure safe working conditions and compliance
- Assemble office furniture and assist in personnel relocation
- Perform maintenance and upkeep of common areas and amenities
- Keep inventory of parts used throughout the facility
Qualifications (preferred but not required)
· Experience in a manufacturing facility
· Certifications in electrical, plumbing, piping

Technical Skills
- Diverse understanding of electrical, mechanical, plumbing disciplines
· Technical knowledge of chilled, hot, and DI water systems
· Technical knowledge of piping, HVAC controls
· Familiarity with cleanroom environments
· Knowledge and experience in handling compressed gases and chemicals
· Strong troubleshooting and diagnosing skills
· Competency with hand and power tools required
Physical Requirements
Must be able to:
- Sit, stand, kneel, lie, bend, reach, grasp, pull, climb etc. for long periods of time
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Walk long distances
- Climb ladders and work at elevated heights
- Work indoors and outdoors; service roof-top equipment
- Wear cleanroom attire, including protective eye gear, harnesses, etc.
