Evergreen CU is hiring an Information Technology Specialist at its Portland, Maine location.

The IT Specialist provides general IT support including software and hardware updates, installation and removal of equipment, general end-user technical support, add, changes or moves for Active Directory, Office 365, and related systems including the phone system, printing and scanning support and malware remediation.
There will be occasional weekends and evenings. The team member will be required to be on call on a rotating basis.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Provides general IT support for line of business software such as the Credit Union's core data processing platform, is responsible for general software installations and upgrades, installation and removal of equipment from services and miscellaneous maintenance and upkeep tasks and review.
- Participates in short and long-range planning for the department to select and utilize appropriate technologies to meet the evolving needs of the company and its members.
- Provides general end user technical support; is responsible for adds, changes or moves of new users in Active Directory, Office 365 and related systems; is responsible for adds, changes or moves in the phone system, provides printing and scanning support and malware remediation.
- Deliver the highest quality member service at each interaction and delivered as promised.

Knowledge & Skill:
Experience - Three years to five years of similar or related experience. Hands on knowledge of Windows Server and Desktop OS, Active Directory, Basic Networking (LAN/WAN/VPN) and Office 365. Proficiency with MS Office Suite, troubleshooting and diagnosis.
Education - (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
Interpersonal Skills - Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
Other Skills -
1. Previous data processing experience including networks, PCs, data communications, mainframe and PC programming and data organization.
2. Technical planning and project management experience.
3. Ability to discuss technical issues effectively with other data processing professionals as well as non-technical users.
4. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Ability to work and travel independently and use general office equipment, give speeches and make presentations.
Physical Requirements:
Must possess sufficient manual dexterity to skillfully operate office equipment including but not limited to the scanner, a computer, photocopier and telephone. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disables to perform the essential functions.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,200.00 - $90,000.00 per year
