The Vines Hospital is currently recruiting for a Full Time Infection Control Nurse who will also work as the staff Nurse Educator.
The Infection Control position oversees the infection control program for the facility and is responsible for conducting infection control rounds, identifying potential infection control issues, conducting staff education related to infection prevention, reviewing and updating Infection Control policies, as needed, analyzing infection control data and making recommendations to ensure compliance with regulatory compliance. This position is also responsible for Employee Health and oversees the employee health program and ensures that the employee health files are properly maintained. The Nurse Educator position oversees and facilitates the training for new and current nursing department staff. The Nurse Educator is also responsible for ensuring annual and initial competencies are completed consistently and timely.
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm. Flexibility to work Weekends and night shift to cover trainings for the weekend and overnight staff. when needed.

Qualifications Requirements:
- Associate degree in Nursing required. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
- Active FL State license Required.
- A minimum of one (1) year experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting with patients adults and adolescents preferred.
- Previous experience or certification in Infection Control highly preferred.
