Job Title: Manufacturing & Purchasing Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY
The Manufacturing and Purchasing Coordinator plans and coordinates manufacturing processes and material buys. Develops, evaluates, and enhances manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential functions include but are not limited to the following:

Liaison between Production and Engineering.

Assemble and distribute job packets.

Serve as backup Purchaser as needed.

Responsible for creating cut lists and burn programs.

Read and interpret manuals, codes, specifications, etc.

Track and report non-conformance activity

Drive continuous improvement activities as it relates to role.

Develop standard operating procedures (SOP) within role.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience

Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, JobBOSS, Autodesk Vault, AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, ROMAC Cut list, and PRONEST.

Experience in creating 2D and 3D sketches in AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Inventor
