Job Details:
-
$49,800-52,800, depending on education and experience, plus health and dental benefits.
-
44 weeks with the option of renewing contract annually.

Cabot After School Program (CASP), located at the Cabot School in Newtonville, MA.
Requirements:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to maintain positive relationships and partnerships with students, staff, and parents.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment and carry out projects independently, manage multiple tasks, take initiative and remain flexible

Candidates should be mature, motivated, and creative. Previous experience working with groups of children aged 5–11 in a school or camp setting is required. Experience as a supervisor preferred.

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Proof of COVID Vaccination.

Responsibilities:
-
Establish a predictable schedule and oversee the 4/5 Age Group (50 students per day).
-
Supervise a team of 4-6 part time staff members.
-
Develop and implement curriculum in areas of the arts, STEAM, and recreation.
-
Support social/emotional development.
-
Support student academics & reading.
-
Consistent behavior management.
-
Establish frequent communication with parents.
-
Complete annual progress reports for students.
-
Provide guidance, development, and feedback to staff.
-
Complete annual evaluations of staff.
Schedule (Dependably is a priority):
-
10am-6pm Monday-Friday.
-
Position Begins August 19th (1st week 9am-3pm).

Mandatory Orientation August 26th-30th, 10am-6pm.
-
Our Program follows the school year calendar, beginning September 3rd.

Full time staff work at least one school vacation day camp (February or April).
