Job Summary:
As a Customer Service Representative at our privately owned auto glass company, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, ensuring their inquiries, concerns, and service needs are addressed promptly and professionally. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer experiences, managing communication channels effectively, and facilitating smooth interactions between customers and our company.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction: Interact with customers via phone, email, and in-person to address inquiries, schedule appointments, and provide information about our auto glass products and services.
- Appointment Scheduling: Efficiently schedule appointments for windshield repairs, replacements, and other auto glass services, coordinating with customers and service technicians to ensure timely and convenient service.
- Order Processing: Process customer orders accurately, ensuring all necessary information is captured and communicated to the appropriate departments for service fulfillment.
- Problem Resolution: Handle customer complaints, concerns, and service issues with professionalism and empathy, striving to achieve swift resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a comprehensive understanding of our auto glass products, services, pricing, and warranty policies to effectively address customer inquiries and provide accurate information.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with service technicians, sales teams, and other internal departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of customer service efforts.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify areas for process improvement and customer service enhancement, providing feedback and suggestions to management for consideration.
- Adherence to Policies and Procedures: Adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards in all customer interactions and service delivery activities.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in customer service, preferably in the automotive industry or related field.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service orientation, with a genuine desire to assist customers and resolve their issues.
- Proficiency in using computers and customer relationship management (CRM) software; experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is preferred.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and order processing.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
