About the Accountant - Client Service Manager
This position offers an exciting opportunity for an Accountant with at least 2 years of experience in public accounting, interested in specializing in outsourced cloud-based financial management. Tailored for professionals looking to enhance their strategic advisory skills in a forward-thinking firm, this role focuses on delivering expert tax and financial advice directly to our clients. You will be a crucial part of our team, serving as a primary source of financial insight and support. This role emphasizes client service and advisory functions, allowing you to develop your expertise in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
Description of Duties
- Provide superior client service and be responsive to client needs
- Preparation of clients' monthly financial statements
- Understanding and assisting clients with growth strategies
- Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Assist clients with Bill pay services
- Classify expense transactions into proper categories
- Facilitate receipt capture processes
- (Optional) Preparation of business and business owner's income tax returns
- (Optional) Preparation of individual income tax returns
- Work and meet with team members to build relationships
Desired Skills
- Minimum of an Associates or Bachelor’s degree in accounting or other related program
- CPA eligible preferred
- Prior experience (2 years) in private/public accounting
- Strong technology skills using Microsoft Office and more applications preferred
- Proficient in use of QuickBooks Online (QBO)
- Exhibits time management and organization skills
- Integrity within a professional environment and a dedication to teamwork
- Excellent interpersonal skills and effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work 50 hours per week during busy season
- Ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience in working in a paperless environment strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Team player with a positive – ‘can do’ approach
