Night Dispatcher Job Description

Position Purpose:
We are a leading 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) provider of high-quality supply chain solutions and optimization services to Petrochemical, Industrial Supply, EPC and Power Generation companies. The Dispatcher is a critical operations role that involves getting orders delivered on time.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Night Dispatcher will:
- Handle high call volumes with a polite professionalism
- Utilize DataTrac system
- Working hours are Thursday night – Sunday night 6pm to 6am
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Knowledgeable of the petrochemical industry and the freight carried in and out of petrochemical plants and familiar with many of the petrochemical industry suppliers
- Microsoft Office experience
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Dispatching experience including dispatch systems and software is a plus
- Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations is a plus
- Knowledge of Houston and surrounding areas
- Provide escalated customer support as needed
- Proactively communicate with customers, both written and orally
- Responsible for maintaining and managing relationships with drivers

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
