SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Manager of Business Intelligence is responsible for creating and delivering solutions to support the advancement of AgileOne’s Business Intelligence Strategies. These strategies should elevate AgileOne’s ability to deliver global, standardized reporting and provide advanced analytic insights. This position will incorporate a deep knowledge of data management and report systems, with strong understanding of Contingent Workforce Strategies, to drive organizational and client program performance. This position will require the following strategic management and project management skills and experience.
DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS (for each duty and function listed indicates % of time to total 100%):
- Reporting and Analytics Management (30% of time)
- Support the development and implementation of comprehensive reporting and analytics strategies, in alignment with AgileOne’s organizational goals and objectives
- Apply advanced data analysis techniques, including predictive analysis, data modeling, and advanced BI report development
- Proactively investigate opportunities to increase the value of data visualization solutions; utilize solutions to analyze, clean and transform data, making the outputs more effective for organizational, aggregated analyses
- Create and drive aggregated reporting projects requiring the knowledge of extracting 3rd party VMS data and integrating it into a data warehouse or PowerBI
- Continuously improve reporting and analytics processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of work activities performed by Client Services and AgileOne Data Analysts
- Business Intelligence Strategy and Infrastructure Management (30% of time)
- Create more effective user interface tools for Supplier Scorecarding and other automated solutions
- Develop strategies for driving greater standardization of reportable content, consistency of data formatting and effective automated solutions, to access data by program teams and suppliers
- Apply knowledge of IT system integrations, data structure development and advanced report development, to create innovative solutions that complement the capabilities and functionality of internal and external vendor management systems
- Incorporate ideas related to the design, development, and maintenance of data warehouses and other data management solutions, to support business reporting and analytics needs
- Research and integrate the latest advancements in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and statistical techniques, and apply them to improve existing reporting solutions and methodologies
- Team Management (30% of time)
- Leads a team of Data Analysts to ensure a high level of support and responsiveness to both internal and external customer needs through the collection, transformation and analysis of various data types and data services
- Manages the team to successfully deliver group and organizational strategic projects
- Interacts and collaborates with colleagues across the organization providing business critical information through analytic support services
- Support the Director of Business Intelligence in creating strategies for enhanced collaboration with client services, implementation and supplier partnership and engagement teams, to integrate business intelligence competencies in the delivery of their services
- Other job-related duties as assigned (10% of time)

SUPERVISION EXERCISED/# OF STAFF:
Manages a team of up to 4 team members and provides support to direct reports so they may be effective in the application of their responsibilities. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and onboarding employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
LANGUAGE/COMMUNICATION SKILLS REQUIRED (written & verbal):
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals. Ability to present information effectively and to respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
COMPUTER/SYSTEM SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
Working knowledge of computers including Windows environments, email, and the internet. Proficiency with MS Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project and Visio. Ability to quickly learn AgileOne proprietary technology.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Strong analytical ability to calculate figures and analyze complex data. Ability to calculate amounts such as mark-up percentages, bill rates, discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra, geometry, and statistics.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
