JOB SUMMARY
The Nurse Consultant (Registered Nurse, RN) is responsible for providing quality consulting services in conformance with recognized nursing techniques, procedures, and established standards based on the scope of nursing practice. Job responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Consult with facility leadership and staff on best practices.
- Participate with the facility Administrator and other key staff members in the interpretation and implementation of policies and procedures.
- Assist in the learning and development of the clinical leadership team members to build and promote an engaged workforce.
- Assist with audits to help improve quality of care.
- Be a resident advocate where the resident is the center of all we do.
- Ensure excellent communication among residents, families, and staff.
- Create positive resident outcomes.
- Respect others by treating them the way we want to be treated.
- Demonstrate kindness, compassion, honesty, and integrity at all times.
- Help create a culture of superior customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse, RN in North Carolina
- Successful criminal background check
- Skilled Nursing Facility experience
- Able and willing to travel 75% to 100% of the time
