HOURS: Flexible, to meet the needs of consumers and their families, evenings expected.
LOCATION: Throughout Allegheny County
SALARY: $49,000-$51,000
Allegheny Children’s Initiative, a subsidiary of Partners For Quality Inc., is a non-profit organization that provides mental and behavioral health community-based services to children, adolescents and families throughout Allegheny and Washington Counties. Based in Pittsburgh’s South Side, we provide Intensive Behavioral Health Services, Service Coordination, Student Assistance, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, and Family Based Mental Health programs. All employees of Allegheny Children’s Initiative are expected to act and conduct services in a socially just, and culturally competent manner. Employees are supported in these efforts through ongoing development and trainings such as trauma-informed care, co-occurring integrated treatment methods, and many other efforts.
Responsibilities:The Senior Clinician will be responsible for providing intensive home-based therapeutic interventions and support services in collaboration with a partner to families whose children and/or adolescents meet the criteria for a mental health diagnosis and who are at risk for inpatient psychiatric hospitalization or other out-of-home placements. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Design and implement an Individualized Treatment and Crisis Plan in collaboration with the consumer and family
- Conduct suicide assessments and collaborate with the consumer and family to create safety plans
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine the course of treatment
- Provide intensive family therapy, psychoeducation and support services, including crisis intervention
- Coordinate and/or link families with formal services and and natural supports
- Use collaborative documentation with the consumer and family
- Complete all required documentation in the Electronic Health Record
- Link consumers and families with aftercare providers and facilitate transition to other levels of care

Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or related field
- Two (2) years paid experience working with children/youth/adolescents
- Valid Driver’s License and full-time use of a vehicle
- Eligible for Act 33, 34 and FBI clearances
Minimum Compensation: USD $49,000.00/Yr. Maximum Compensation: USD $51,000.00/Yr.
