Job Summary:
The purpose of the Maintenance Electrical is to be responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems and processes.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide scheduled and emergency repairs of production equipment
- Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and facilities
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material-handling equipment
- Detect faulty operations and defective material; report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
Performance Expectations (if applicable):
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reaching is required approximately 50 times per shift.
- Stooping is required approximately 100 times per shift for approximately 10-second intervals.
- Must be able to bend, stand, walk, climb, and sit on the lift truck for extended periods.
Experience/Education Requirements:
- Previous experience preferred
- High school graduate or GED preferred
Other Requirements:
- Overtime is required on occasion.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
