Planner Scheduler - Industrial Maintenance Mechanical and Electrical (Long Term No per diem)
Job Summary
The Mechanical /Electrical Maintenance Planner is responsible for effectively preparing quality maintenance/project work plans set forth by the guidelines of Plant policies in safety, environmental, and the Industrial work systems standard.
-Assists the Outage Coordinator in the outage planning process by assisting to identify and prioritize outage related work and preparing high quality work order packages and plans for safe and efficient outage work execution.
-Understand and support Plant safety goals.
-Ensure safety is the first and primary focus of every planned job.
-Trained and knowledgeable on both client and Brown & Root safety policies.
-Report any injury, near miss or equipment damage incident.
-Assist in thoroughly investigating the incident and identifying any corrective actions that should be put in place to prevent in the future.
-Perform all task in a safe, effective and efficient manner. Conduct all interfaces in a professional and ethical manner. Assure all work in conducted to acceptable industry standards.
Review of work packages before starting any work is started for adequate information and specifications.
Assist in assembling work packages by adding relevant checklist and hold points.
Identify and document the appropriate activities stipulated in the individual work package for project and routine maintenance activities.
Work with Customer’s Engineering, Inspections and Reliability groups to establish procedures for maintenance activities, turnarounds and small capital improvement projects.
Qualifications/Competencies/Experience:
In addition to competencies in Levels 1,2,3,4 is recognized as an expert in own area within the organization
Provides leadership, mentoring and guidance to others
Requirements
High School Graduate or Equivalent
Training: (Preferred
HSE and Maintenance procedures, Engineering Specifications and Procedures.
Skills: (Recommended) Interpersonal Skills, Computer Software- MicroSoft Office, CMMS, ACCESS, Time Management, Customer focus,
