Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality standards are met, and that staff efficiently work together to deliver on the business’s objectives.
- Manage a team of professionals, including technicians and administrative staff.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve process and achieve company goals.
- Monitor and manage budgets, financial performance, and cost control measures.
- Maintain a strong focus on client satisfaction and building and nurturing client relationships.
- Recruit, lead, and mentor a high-performance team. Foster a positive work environment that supports growth and high levels of employee engagement.
- Champion a culture of safety excellence, promoting best practices and adherence to safety regulations. Lead and mentor the team, providing guidance and support for professional development.
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures, conducting regular safety training sessions for employees.
- Collaborate with the executive team to drive business growth and expansion.
- Implement best practices and standards for operational efficiency and productivity.
- Drive initiatives that improve the overall performance and reputation of the company.
- Develop and implement retention strategies to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce.
- Ensures operational excellence to promote client satisfaction and customer retention.
- Assess and mitigate potential risks to the business, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-year degree; 4-year degree in business or related field desired; commensurate experience will be considered.
- 3+ years of experience as a General Manager managing trade workers, manual laborers, and skilled laborers within a company of annual revenue of $1 million or more.
- Experience as an Operational Director preferred.
- Strong understanding of business operations, financial management, and market dynamics.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
- Knowledge of kitchen exhaust cleaning and related safety regulation is an asset.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Service-related management experience in B2B space within landscape, restoration, HVAC, plumbing or electrical industries.
