Special School District (SSD) provides special education and related services for students parentally placed in private schools, parochial schools, and home school programs in St. Louis County through the Special Non-Public Access Program (SNAP).
As a SNAP specialist, you will serve as the department’s representative by supporting partner education teams for students in SSD’s care. You will assist in identifying each student’s needs while ensuring families and other stakeholders receive consistent and clear communication. Your expertise in special education, collaborative approach, and unwavering commitment to fostering an equitable, inclusive, and accessible learning environment will ensure each student is empowered to reach their greatest potential.
SNAP specialists work Monday through Friday, 8-hour days, at our Central Office, 12110 Clayton Road, Town & Country, MO. They receive generous salaries and benefit packages that acknowledge their expertise and educational attainment.
