- 7+ years Operations experience
- 5+ years Management experience
- Air Separation Unit (ASU) experience is preferred, Fluency in Standard Plants is a plus.

Job Overview:
The On-Site Area Manager for the North-East or Mid-East region is responsible for ensuring that business objectives are met in a safe and environmentally compliant manner. The manager oversees budgets, reliability, personnel management, compliance, quality, and safety/environmental programs for the assigned area. Working with nearly 50 plants, 2 supervisors, and 20 technicians; all focused on the operation and maintenance of air separation facilities located at customer sites. The facilities use several technologies to produce industrial gas including cryogenic distillation, vacuum pressure swing adsorption, pressure swing adsorption, and membranes. The manager will be based in the vicinity of grouped production locations and perform confidently in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of independence. They will be supervising improvement initiatives in Productivity, Quality, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction; as well as manage employee and operational performance to ensure safe, efficient, and environmentally compliant operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and supervision over technical, production, maintenance and/or other staff.
- Manage organizational change in a fast-paced environment.
- Convert strategic initiatives into actionable steps at the tactical level
- Engages a variety of support groups to help meet needs
- Recruit, select, orient, and train new employees; oversee performance of contracted work as required.
- Resolve workflow problems and conflicts by analyzing impediments and organizing work to maximize use of personnel and material resources.
- Ensure completion of area production or area activities by reviewing and monitoring employee activity and performance.
- Integrate activities with East region bulk operations
- Ensure employee adherence to and compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and Safety policy requirements.
- Identify issues and lead improvement plans in production processes, shift schedules, overtime levels, training, etc.
- Manage and escalate as required, equipment, product quality and delivery issues.
- Manage employee performance by setting expectations, providing guidance, feedback, and development for career progression and performance improvement.
- Communicates effectively throughout the organization.
