We are a growing single doctor FFS practice with a great culture of teamwork and mutual respect. We are looking for a great teammate to join us. We pride ourselves on our no-pressure, no judgement approach to care based on patient-specific risk. You can find out a little bit more information about this risk-based, patient-centric approach at our website at : ElmhurstDentist.com.
My goal is to find someone who cares about patients, is personable, works well with our team, and enjoys getting better. On the one hand we are pretty anti-corporate for their profit-driven approaches and energy destroying practice styles, but on the other we are also anti private practice doc who has not updated a single thing about their practice since 1979 who doesn't respect their hygienists and staff.
Some miscellaneous hygiene info:
60 minutes for prophy and perio maintainance, 90 for SRP, 30 minutes for kids. You are pretty in charge of your schedule to schedule more or less time as needed for specific patients or situations. New patients are seen for 90 minute exam and diagnostics on the doctor side with no cleaning at their first appointment. We do salivary diagnostics in the office through oralDNA. Brand new Brasseler hygiene instruments for prophies and for SRPs. We use Open Dental (which is super easy/intuitive even if you have no experience) practice management software, Dexis for digital x rays, and Pearl.ai software for reading x rays. We have new CBCT/pano machine as well.
