We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to join our team. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth for the company's 3PL logistics brokerage division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and generate new business leads through market research, prospecting, networking, and referrals.
- Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to acquire new clients and expand the company's customer base within the logistics industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their logistics needs, and offering innovative solutions to enhance their supply chain operations.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and pitches to effectively communicate the value proposition of our 3PL brokerage services to potential clients.
- Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service agreements with clients to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships and achieve revenue targets.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, pricing, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of logistics solutions and exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and analyze sales metrics, pipeline activity, and revenue forecasts to track performance against targets and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related fieldpreffered.
- Proven track record of success in business development or sales roles within the logistics or transportation industry, preferably in a 3PL brokerage environment.
- Strong understanding of logistics concepts, freight brokerage operations, and supply chain dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
