The General Manager (GM) is responsible for the overall leadership, administration, and performance of the company. This role involves strategic planning, operational oversight, financial management, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. The General Manager must drive business growth, manage resources effectively, oversee the sales team, and lead a diverse team of employees to achieve the company’s goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business strategies, plans, and procedures to promote the company’s goals and objectives.
- Take ownership of and demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Profit and Loss (P&L) statement, ensuring all financial targets are met.
- Oversee the company’s overall operational and financial performance, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.
- Identify opportunities for expansion and improvement, including new markets and service offerings.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations, conducting regular safety meetings and training.
- Monitor and manage the performance of projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Oversee the preparation of bids, contracts, and project proposals.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Establish and enforce operational policies and standards to maintain quality and consistency.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Develop and manage the company’s budget, ensuring financial goals are met.
- Analyze financial reports and other performance metrics to make informed decisions.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
- Foster a deep understanding of P&L among department heads and staff to ensure collective responsibility for financial performance.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team, ensuring employees have the skills and resources needed to succeed.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance evaluations for staff members.
- Maintain and enhance relationships with clients.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by monitoring feedback and addressing issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Oversee health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a management role within the industry.
- Sales experience required.
- Strong knowledge of the industry.
- Extensive experience in business development, financial management, and operational oversight.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
