Summary
We are seeking a dynamic User Researcher to join our team and focus on hardware and platform innovations.
As UX Researcher at Wyze, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience for our innovative smart home products. You will be responsible for conducting user research, gathering insights and translating findings into actionable recommendations that inform the design and development of our products. Join a dynamic team committed to creating intuitive, user-centric solutions that enhance the lives of our customers.
As a User Experience Researcher, you will:
- Independently plan and lead research end to end, including strategic, foundational, iterative, and evaluative research.
- Design, test, and evaluate growth initiatives to drive user acquisition and engagement.
- Have the skills to answer those questions, including, strong command of a range of qualitative methods and comfort with quantitative methods - especially survey development and related data analysis.
- Represent the voice of the user throughout the while product development process, working closely with PMs, designers, engineers, and leadership.
- Clearly communicate your research insights to the right people at the right time, ensuring that the team translate research findings to product and business impact.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies. Provide insights on how Wyze can differentiate itself through superior user experience
- Advocate for and contribute to the development of accessible and inclusive design practices. Ensure that user research addresses the diverse needs of our customer base.
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree, either Masters or PhD, in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Behavioral Economics, Anthropology, Sociology, or similar
- 3+ years of experience in user research, preferably with experience in hardware research
- Familiarity with both quantitative and qualitative research methods.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in using UX research tools and platforms.
