JOB DETAILS
Day Rotational Shift: 6am-6pm
Pay Rate start at $20-$32 per hour
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The QC/QA Inspector will insure quality standards by performing Finished Product Audits (FPA), Control Plan audits, follow through of findings for containment & corrective actions as well as perform other quality-related duties

Conduct audits and inspections of material at all stages, and of each process while providing feedback

Communicate audit findings with production team in process and during standup meetings

Review and analyze audit findings for containment and corrective action follow up with the team

Aid in document control activities – posting documents, follow through with approvers

Use calipers and other measuring devices to conduct standard testing of both finished goods

Aid in identify best practices in the manufacturing of windows
-
Document non-conformities and oversee completion of NCR activities

Validate product conformance when process adjustments are made
Qualifications
-
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required; technical degree is preferred

Previous Manufacturing QC/QA Experience preferred

Previous Experience working with calipers and working with tolerances such as +/-.005 required

Previous Experience reading and understanding Blueprints and other written specifications preferred

Previous Experience with basic problem-solving skills for development of corrective actions required

Ability to read and write English

Must have a working knowledge of basic mathematical skills

Proficient in the use of computers, MS office, and computer related skills

Must possess excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills

Proactive in safety and works well in a team environment

Be able to work overtime hours and Saturday as needed

Including, bending, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, sitting, squatting, reaching and handling objects; standing and walking up to 85%- 90% of the shift

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
