The City of Richland is seeking a passionate brand ambassador to join our communications and marketing team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in navigating the complexities of working in a highly visible role supporting a diverse customer base, both internal and external. To be successful in this position, a person would thrive in a faced paced environment and enjoy building long-term partnerships. The person in this position works in a team environment on-site full-time.
Target Hiring Range: $32.83 - $39.39 (DOQ)
Finalists will be invited to participate in a job-related skills test. This position will be open until filled with the first review of applications to begin on July 12.
GENERAL SUMMARY
Performs intermediate technical work creating design solutions for all communications and marketing materials, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Communications and Marketing Manager (supervisor).

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Valid driver's license.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED and three (3) years of experience in digital media publication, graphic design, and communications and marketing.
This position is posted internally/externally concurrently. Internal qualified applicants will compete with qualified external applicants.
Selection will be made based on overall qualifications, skills testing (if applicable) and a formal interview. Final candidate selected may be subject to an internal reference check (supervisor, peers, and review of personnel file and performance reviews).
