The Logistics Lead Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the coordination and facilitation of the movement of cargo by verifying project requirements, carrier selection, and documentation of movement.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leads the logistics team to ensure timely completion of daily tasks, including order fulfillment, and shipment processing.

Verifies project scope by reviewing project specifications and confirms project requirements by coordinating with stakeholders.

Actively participates in continuous improvement initiatives and conducts training sessions for team members on new processes and best practices.

Coordinates load out/delivery sequence of project modules to meet delivery deadlines.

Prepares and uploads necessary paperwork, i.e., BOL, PL, CI

Support Logistics supervisor with all packing efforts and preparing RFQ bids.
-
Assists with gathering and packing of ship loose items as required for the project.

Collaborates with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment needed for project execution.

Assists the logistics supervisor in conducting performance evaluations and identifying training needs for team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.

Oversees and maintains logistics plans and schedules to optimize workflow and meet project deadlines for all clients.

Investigates and resolves logistics issues such as shipping delays, damaged goods, and inventory discrepancies promptly to minimize project disruptions.

Supports with dispatch TAS truck fleet day-to-day operations as needed.
- Works closely with other departments to ensure customer needs are met.

Keeps project team informed of logistics activities

Organizes and uploads all project documentation to shared drive.

Manages carrier load tenders in TMS.

Processes E-Requester orders for project purchase orders

Maintains and receives purchase orders in MRP.
-
Verifies carrier invoices and addresses discrepancies
-
Assists with gathering and packing of ship loose items as required for the project.

Facilitates receipt and verifies condition of project unit modules and ship loose at site
-

Previous experience working in a industrial manufacturing setting

Able to walk/stand in steel toed boots for long distances/ periods of time

Able to lift 50 lbs.

Read and speak English fluently

Travel 25-50%
