Stepping Stones’ popular Saturday Kids Club and Saturday Young Adults Club programs operate throughout the school-year at our Given Campus In Indian Hill. These social programs provide children, teens and young adults with disabilities the opportunity to socialize with their peers while staying active and having fun.
As a Saturday Club Counselor, you will gain leadership skills while engaging participants in art, nature, music and other seasonal recreation activities. Counselors also ensure a safe and inclusive atmosphere while supporting participants with personal care.
WHEN WILL YOU BE WORKING?
The Fall 2024 – Spring 2025 Saturday Club season kicks off on September 14, 2024 with the program operating twice a month through April, 2025. Saturday Club Counselors are needed for both 8:30 am – 3:00 pm and 2:30 pm – 8:30 pm shifts.
GAIN EXPERIENCE IN:
- Executing adaptive recreation activities for multiple age groups
- Exposure to IEPs and goal-tracking
- Documentation for the State of Ohio and other local officials
- Leading small participant groups while navigating a daily activity schedule
- Providing an inclusive space that supports everyone’s needs and level of ability
- Risk assessment and conflict resolution
- First Aid & CPR Certification at no cost to you
