Corporate Internship & Postsecondary Readiness Coordinator
Reports to: Head of School
Hours: Full-Time, 12-month position. Must allow flexibility according to the needs of the program. May include evenings and weekends for special events.

It aims to partner with families and utilize evidence-based practices to equip each student for success through a rigorous, personalized college preparatory program, and a unique internship program, thereby building skills that will transform students' lives.
Nazareth Prep is sponsored by Holy Family Institute (HFI), a 120-year-old Catholic organization with a substantial history of serving children and families in the Pittsburgh Region. HFI provides help, healing and hope to more than 35,000 children and families annually through several social services and educational programs.
Position
Nazareth Prep is seeking a versatile and organized Coordinator to lead our Corporate Internship Program (CIP) and guide students towards postsecondary readiness. This role will involve working with administration, corporate and non-profit internship mentors, teacher internship managers, and school departments to coordinate the internship program and it involves supporting students' postsecondary training, college and career goals.
Internship Program Leadership:
● Partner with the Head of School and teachers to connect classroom learning to real-world experience through internships.
● Collaborate with the Vice President for Business Development to secure new internship placements and manage existing partnerships.
● Oversee all aspects of the internship program, including coordinating student pickups and drop-offs with the transportation department, ensuring compliance with partner guidelines, and facilitating student discussions about their internship experiences.
● Act as the primary point of contact for internship mentors, keeping them informed of program updates and expectations.
● Conduct regular site visits and check-in calls with students and mentors to ensure a successful internship experience.
● Develop and implement systems to efficiently manage the internship program.
● Build strong relationships with teachers and students to support their success in internship placements.
Postsecondary Readiness Support:
● Collaborate with teachers and advisors to facilitate college and career planning discussions with students (grades 9-12).
● Assist students in identifying summer job opportunities, enrichment programs, and scholarships for college preparation.
● In coordination with teacher internship managers, help students to prepare for admission to competitive summer and school year STEM and humanities programs, career camps and summer workshops and enrichment program
● Develop and maintain relationships with colleges, universities, and local businesses to expand internship and enrichment opportunities.
● Coordinate information sessions, submissions and poster session for the Saint Joseph the Worker scholarship competition.
● In collaboration with teacher internship managers, Head of School and Director of Administration and Operations:
● Coordinate visits from colleges, trade and technical schools, and apprenticeship programs for juniors and seniors.
● Plan trips to college and career fairs for students.
● Help students connect with SAT preparation resources and register for the test.
● Help students navigate the admissions process and application for college, technical school, trade apprenticeship and direct to work opportunities.
● Manage the student fee waiver program for college entrance exams.
● Manage PSAT testing administration.
Minimum Qualifications:
● Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Education, Program Management, or a related field (preferred).
● Have experience working in a school or educational setting.
● Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
● Excel at communication and interpersonal skills.
● Thrive in building and maintaining positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
● Are proficient in technology and project management tools.
● Demonstrate a detail-oriented approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
● Maintain flexibility and adaptability, including occasional evenings and weekends.

Current Act 33/34 and FBI clearances with a valid PA driver’s license required.
